When suspended from a suitable crane, standard Pack Boy units are capable of lifting panel packs up to 20 metres long and up to 4 tonnes in total weight. If this isn’t impressive enough, heavy-duty kits can handle panels up to 22 metres long- and unique tandem Pack Boy arrangements can lift panel packs up to 30 metres long.
We have now introduced specific Pack Boy assemblies to handle 1.2-metre wide panel packs and greater. Panels are getting wider and heavier; we noticed this change in demand, which is why we have developed this innovative, safe panel handling solution.
The Pack Boy Wide assembly resembles our standard Pack Boy set-up. Within the assembly are purpose-built forks that have 1.2 metre-long tines. This means that with the Pack Boy Wide, you can safely handle 1.2-metre wide panel packs.
In addition to the Pack Boy Wide, we have a 2-metre wide configuration that fits our standard Pack Boy beams. This allows you to easily and efficiently unload Kingspan KS2000RW packs of panels.
