Glass Boy GB-L
250–500 kg capacity | Glass up to 3m × 4m
The GB-L is the smallest Glass Boy in the range, making it ideal for lighter glass installations and projects where a smaller, more manoeuvrable crane is required.
Its compact dual-circuit design offers two lifting configurations and is supplied in a dedicated storage and transport cradle for easy transportation to and from site.
Glass Boy GB-X
Lifting configuration from 400Kg up to 800Kg – lift up to 4m x 4m glass elements.
Supplied as a complete kit in a pallet storage box, the GB-X glass vacuum lifter can be assembled in six configurations to suit glass elements of any shape and orientation up to 4m x 4m and 800Kg. Dual–circuit and robustly designed for maximum reliability and minimum maintenance.
Glass Boy GB-H
Lifting configuration from 600Kg up to 1,800Kg
The Glass Boy GB-H is the most heavy-duty glass lifter in the range and is extremely capable up to its limit. The leading piece of glass lifting equipment for its weight class, the Glass Boy GB-H is the perfect vacuum lifter for your heavy glass lifting needs.
The largest Glass Boy lifter features quad vacuum circuits, multiple configurations and a lift capacity of up to an enormous 1800Kg. The unit also features a remote control for vacuum operation, powered tilting and rotation. Despite its capabilities, the GB-H is stored in a standard pallet footprint cradle for ease and economy of transport.

The Glass Boy GB-XL glass vacuum lifter is available for hire or purchase, alongside maintenance and training from our vacuum lifting experts.
GB-XL is the newest to the Glass Boy range and provides you with a single glass lifter that can be used for a wide range of glass installations. Manufactured by VIAVAC – the vacuum lifter experts behind the Clad Boy, Cool Boy, and Rota Boy series.
Every product in the Glass Boy vacuum lifter range comes with a transport box or cradle. This is the same footprint as a standard pallet.

From time to time, vacuum lifters need repairing. 4 Cladding Services’ Glass Boy range is fully repairable should anything go wrong. The quality design and assembly of the units means you do not have to treat these as disposable pieces of equipment.

Free In House Training & Support With All Hires & Purchases
Here at 4 Cladding Services, we provide vacuum lifter training and support with all hires and purchases of our professional lifting equipment. Completely free of charge!
Our training sessions are designed to inform and educate you about the specific vacuum lifter you are using, as well as the particular application. The reason we do so is because we put your safety at the forefront of everything we do; it’s our main priority.
We also provide on-site support even after your purchase. If you do experience any issues, do not hesitate to give us a call. We will always endeavour to diagnose the issue over the phone, but a visit will be arranged if needed. If you require a replacement, this will be arranged by our friendly team.
Glass Vacuum Lifter Servicing & Maintenance
We perform vacuum lifter repairs, maintenance and servicing. This includes LOLER tests, carried out every 6 months at our site, but can include transport to and from your premises.
We will always work around you to ensure minimum disruption to your business. Scheduling tests and maintenance around your site downtime and planned projects means we can do the job without any negative impact. While this happens, you can hire a like-for-like glass vacuum lifter from us. The whole process is hassle-free!

Glass Boy FAQs
Although the Glass Boy vacuum lifting range offers many configurations and accommodates glass panes of various sizes and weights, it is not designed for curved glass. Consider the VIAVAC compact curved glass vacuum lifter for a powerful machine that can lift curved glass panels.
Despite their impressive carry capacity, Glass Boy lifters have a small footprint and do not require specialist equipment to move. Even the largest model in the range, the GB-H, is stored in a standard pallet footprint cradle. Furthermore, it uses a specially designed transportation frame, making it easy to move.
Yes, the vacuum lifters in the glass boy range come with a 12-month warranty. Please note that the warranty does not include seals.
