Construction Site Deliveries
At 4 Cladding Services, we’re constantly looking to improve the service which we offer to customers, and we take all feedback on board as we strive to improve. We have recently received feedback from a number of customers asking whether we can offer guaranteed pre-10am or pre-midday delivery slots for our equipment, and so we wanted to explain our experience and the different options on timed-delivery offerings.
Costs
To keep delivery and collection costs as low as possible for our customers, the majority of our machines are transported via a pallet network. Unfortunately, due to driver scheduling and transport regulations, although we can request them, the network is unable to offer guaranteed timed delivery slots such as pre-10am or pre-midday. Standard deliveries and collections can be made any time up until 5pm.
Time Critical
If site operations are time critical, we would recommend booking the machine for delivery one day earlier, where possible. This helps ensure the equipment is on site and ready to use when required, avoiding any potential delays on site.
Guaranteed Timed Delivery
For customers who require a guaranteed timed delivery, we can arrange transport through a dedicated haulier, which would allow for specific delivery time slots. This option however, would come at a higher cost than the pallet network. If you would like a quote for a dedicated delivery, we would be more than happy to arrange this upon request.
