Curved glass installation up to 700 kilograms
The use of curved glass is very popular in the construction industry. Curved glass offers the opportunity to create unique and aesthetically pleasing buildings with a modern look. In addition, curved glass panels are becoming larger and heavier, which requires a solution to safely install the glass and relieve the installation team. The best method for this is to use a glass lifter. VIAVAC has developed a glass lifter that provides both. The VIAVAC GB-XL Curved places curved glass up to a weight of up to 700 kilograms.

The VIAVAC GB-XL Curved can be installed quickly and easily in two different configurations. In its smallest configuration, this glass lifter hoists curved glass up to 350 kilograms. Need more capacity? Expanding the glass lifter with additional suction pads increases the lifting capacity to 700 kilograms. The handling dimensions of the glass lifter can be adjusted from a minimum of 960 × 1,100 mm (350 kg) to a maximum of 960 × 2,200 mm (700 kg).
Minimum radius 800 mm
This glass lifter for curved glass is suitable for radiuses from 800 mm. In addition, the glass can be picked up on either the convex or concave side. This allows the glass to be placed on the inside as well as the outside.

Long or short lifting arm
With the VIAVAC GB-XL Curved, installing curved glass is easy, resulting in time savings and increased productivity. The glass lifter can be ordered with a radio remote control. By default, this lifting tool for glass assembly comes with a long lifting arm, which keeps the glass hanging straight. A short lifting arm is optional for installations in confined spaces.
Motorised tilting mechanism for precise and controlled glass installations.
To place the glass in a controlled manner, we have developed a lifting arm with a motorized tilting mechanism equipped with a radio remote control. The glass no longer needs to be tilted manually but instead at the touch of a button. As a result, the glass is placed with millimeter precision. Ask about capabilities.
