Why We’re Adjusting Our Prices for 2026

As we step into January 2026, we would like to share a bit of the story behind our decision to adjust both our hire and sales prices this year.

We know pricing changes can be a big deal for our customers, so we want to be as transparent as possible.

First, a bit of context: back in April 2024, we did a major overhaul of our pricing structure to make things fairer and more consistent for everyone.

Before that change, we had inconsistent pricing, depending on whether you were working on roof projects or wall projects, even though the equipment was largely the same.

Additionally, our previous pricing had abrupt jumps in cost when projects became slightly larger, rather than a smooth and gradual scale.

When we addressed all that in April 2024, it actually led to lower prices on many projects, which was great for fairness, but it did mean we took a slight hit.

We haven’t touched our prices since then.

Now, as we look to 2026, we face the reality that the cost of doing business has increased across the board.

Every year, we see about a 2.5% increase from our suppliers on vacuum lifters, and we’ve been absorbing that.

Transport and haulage costs have also risen, especially after we changed providers (who were already pricier and have since increased their rates further).

Add to that the rising costs of staff, pay raises, insurance, consumables, and the general increase in operational expenses. It all adds up.

So, for 2026, we do need to adjust our prices.

For smaller vacuum lifter configurations, a 5% increase might be seen.

For larger setups, the rate might be around 3.5% to 4%.

In short, it’s a necessary adjustment to keep pace with rising costs and ensure we can continue to deliver the quality and service you expect.
